A touch of glass

Bring new life to jars and bottles

This is a great way to create a decorative display on a small budget, as it makes use of everyday items that you're likely to have lying around the home.

First, take a selection of empty glass bottles and jars and soak in warm, soapy water. Clean to remove any sticky labels and leave to dry.

Next, choose your favourite wallpaper samples, or wrapping paper scraps, and tear to fit. Then fasten around the middle of the jars and bottles with string.

Finally, arrange and fill with a selection of your favourite seasonal single stems.
