Garden: Harvest highlight
Sweetcorn
You can’t beat the taste of freshly picked sweetcorn.
In fact the sooner you eat it after harvesting the better, before the sugars in the kernels turn to starch.
And there’s no better way to enjoy your sweetcorn than by boiling it and drenching it in butter, or try popping it on the barbecue for a smoky chargrilled taste.
